How does internet-based software work and where is the data stored?

Internet-based software, also called a «cloud solution», requires no installation on the computer. The software is operated via an internet browser, accessing your own data through a secure connection. The data is stored on a protected server and continuously backed up multiple times. No unauthorized person can access this data.

All PRAXSYS data is stored in Switzerland on multiple servers in a protected data center. Our service provider meets all security standards and is also subject to Swiss data protection law. Data access is secured by your personal password.

How is data security ensured / Data backup

Data is transmitted encrypted between your internet browser and the server. If the data were intercepted by unauthorized parties along this path, it could not be read thanks to the encryption. The same principle is used by government agencies, banks, and insurance companies.
